Prior to launching Lana Rogers PR + Media Consulting, Lana was Communications Director at one of Canada’s top leading marketing and public relations firms. There she worked alongside some of the country’s top tourism, travel, lifestyle and real estate brands, creating compelling and most importantly, result-achieving campaigns.
With her lifelong appetite for the hospitality industry, Lana has worked closely with a number of enduring brands to achieve honourable accreditation in some of North America’s top publications including: Avenue Magazine, enRoute Magazine, Forbes.com, Globe & Mail, Monocle, Post Media, Sharp Magazine, Washington Post, and WestJet Magazine.
Drawn to the entrepreneurial spirit of local brands, Lana has participated with goodwill projects such as Shop Boys, an initiative meant to raise awareness for local shop owners and low-income women wanting to start a business of their own through the Momentum program. A passion for educating the youth, Lana volunteers her time on a regular basis with Junior Achievement of Southern Alberta where she provides career advice to grade school students and brand awareness for the company. Lana also supports the Mount Royal Public Relations program by providing mentorship and guidance to communications students.
Above all, Lana has always had an unwavering passion and talent for opportunity assessment and storytelling in the most unconventional of ways.
